How to Clean a Dishwasher Filter Leave a comment

Eventually, you’ll realize that your dishwasher needs some care, including a good, healthy filter cleaning.

And will it be difficult to do this cleaning yourself?

Well the answer is no, it is not!

1. Remove the lower basket to expose the bottom of the machine and you will find the filter. Turn it counterclockwise and remove.

2. Wash the filter with clean water using, for example, a toothbrush to dislodge any trapped food particles.

Bonus: You can give the filter a white vinegar bath for a deeper clean.

3. Once the filter is clean, put it back in place. Turn it clockwise and make sure it is securely fastened.
